Traveling Event Boxes

From: Christa Kinde (she_who_plants@yahoo.com) | Date: 2004-06-11 16:14:10 UTC-07:00
Hey, a question for the group.
I have created a PLB that's really fun, and I've already made arrangements for it to travel to an event in PA in July. I'm thinking of holding on to it so that it can travel with me to an event in GA in August. Is there such a thing as a traveling event box?...and if so, how do you advertise the fact that you have a box that's willing to hop around from event to event?

Most assuredly there are Travelling Event Boxes, we've seen a few of them and hosted a few at our last event. But,
yes, you can make it that is you so desire to. I say have a blast and as long as it harms no one nor the environment,
go for it!

There are a number of traveling event stamps. Some are quite amazing stamps.
There is even a traveling story box (where everyone adds to the story when
they stamp in).

If you're looking for a gathering to try your new box out on, I'd love to
host it at our Moose Hill Mach 2 gathering on June 27.

Contact me off list if you're interested...I know it's short notice.

:-)

I've got to learn to choose my words more carefully in this forum! You letterboxers read clues into everything! No, my event-hopping box is not rabbit-inspired. I was speaking figuratively! LOL

She Who Plants
Who will make a more formal announcement about her traveling event box...later
